Printed by volunteers. Free.

Volunteer printing by LayerFlow3D. 3D printing workshops in Ukraine print parts for military units, hospitals, rehabilitation centres and NGOs, free of charge, and send them by Nova Poshta or Ukrposhta.

What gets requested: a battery case, a tourniquet holder, a radio mount, an adaptive grip.

Units, hospitals and NGOs

Access is by invitation from a volunteer workshop. Got a link? Open it, and your account is ready in a minute.

Volunteer workshops

You do not sign in here. Work in LayerFlow3D: open a workspace in Ukraine, turn on volunteer requests in its settings and invite the people you print for.

A workspace that only prints for volunteers can ask for the free volunteer plan when it turns volunteer requests on: up to 50 printers, no prices and nothing to sell.

The rules

Questions

Who prints the parts?

Volunteer 3D printing workshops in Ukraine that run their printers in LayerFlow3D and have switched volunteer requests on. They print with their own machines and their own filament.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. A request carries no price, and a workshop may not ask for money or sell what it printed.

What if there is no model?

Send photos with measurements and tick that a model is needed. A workshop that can design one will take the request.

How long does it take?

It depends on the part and the workshop. Set a needed-by date. A workshop that takes a request from the shared feed has 72 hours to start printing, or the request goes back to the feed.

Can I invite a colleague?

Yes, once your email is confirmed: from your cabinet, with a one-time link. Every invitation is recorded, so each account can be traced to whoever vouched for it.

Who sees my details?

Only the workshop that takes your request sees your name, phone and branch. Other workshops see the photos, the description, the quantity and the region.

How to get an invitation

If you need parts printed

Ask a volunteer workshop you already work with to send you an invitation. If you know none, write to us from your unit’s or organisation’s email: who you are and what you need printed.

If you print

Open a workspace in LayerFlow3D with Ukraine as its country, turn on volunteer requests in its settings and invite the people you print for. It is free on every plan. The shared feed opens once the workspace is 14 days old, its email is confirmed and it has a printer.
